We increase project success by bringing stakeholders together. The outcome of any project depends on early, regular stakeholder involvement. Our range of outreach tools includes workshops, newsletters, surveys, focus groups, and interviews to help diverse stakeholders envision and articulate the mutual benefits of a successful conservation planning effort. Parks for the Future: San Mateo County Park and Recreation Foundation Significant budget and staff cuts, resulting in park closures and deferred maintenance, presented a challenge for the San Mateo Park and Recreation Foundation. We conducted a series of workshops with the park directors and city managers from the County’s 20 cities. This collaborative effort resulted in agreement on a source of consistent parks funding, revenue oversight, and allocation of monies among the County and the cities.
